About the Journal
Civic and Citizenship Education Review (CCER) is an interdisciplinary scholarly journal that provides a forum for the discussion, analysis, and dissemination of research in civic education and citizenship education. The journal focuses on educational, social, political, legal, cultural, ethical, and technological dimensions of citizenship learning and development in local, national, regional, and global contexts.
CCER encourages submissions from across the fields of education, social sciences, humanities, law, political science, sociology, anthropology, psychology, philosophy, history, communication, and educational technology. The journal welcomes empirical, theoretical, conceptual, critical, and methodological studies that examine civic knowledge, civic skills, civic dispositions, civic engagement, civic responsibility, civic identity, and civic action in formal, non-formal, informal, and digital learning environments.
